Practical guide
Fulfill your first stored parcel.
An order connects a recipient to an eligible, identified parcel. Review the details before a Host prepares the shipment.
1. Confirm inventory is eligible
Use a parcel whose receiving and storage records are complete and which is available for the intended order. A parcel still in transit, disputed, held, or already assigned is not a substitute for available inventory.
2. Enter the recipient carefully
Check the recipient name and deliverable address, including unit numbers and required contact details. Use only customer data needed for the shipment. Do not put a private Host address into a customer return instruction.
3. Review the assignment and shipping option
Confirm the intended parcel, destination, and offered service before submitting. A commerce store connection should not be assumed to synchronize the order. Avoid submitting a second order because a first request takes time to respond; check the existing record first.
4. Follow fulfillment milestones
The assigned Host verifies the parcel, applies the authorized label, and completes required staging evidence. Handoff-ready means prepared for the carrier. Carrier acceptance is recorded separately and starts the next custody phase.
5. Handle changes through the record
If the address is wrong, the customer cancels, or the parcel becomes blocked, use the available order or support flow promptly. A late cancellation does not automatically erase an already-earned handling charge. Returns require their own authorization and destination.
